# CL vs Entry One

The clearest difference is rating: Entry One at 4.3 against CL's 3.4. Entry One also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). CL's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and ratings volume (14 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Entry One holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of CL's written reviews are positive against 50% of Entry One's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CL ships an update every 4 months, Entry One every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
