# Zineway vs Discover Press

The clearest difference is monetization model: Zineway at free against Discover Press's free with in-app purchases. Zineway also leads on review sentiment (54% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Discover Press's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zineway ships an update every 3 months, Discover Press every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
