# NOLA.com vs TALK 1073

The clearest difference is rating: NOLA.com at 4.6 against TALK 1073's 3.0. NOLA.com also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). TALK 1073's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOLA.com sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. TALK 1073 asks for nothing beyond the download.

NOLA.com holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOLA.com has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of NOLA.com's written reviews are positive against 71% of TALK 1073's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
