# syracuse.com vs NewsQuick

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NewsQuick at 100% against syracuse.com's 15%. NewsQuick also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). syracuse.com's advantage is ratings volume (6.9K vs 10) and chart position (#83 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. syracuse.com sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and NewsQuick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NewsQuick holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: syracuse.com has 6.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of syracuse.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of NewsQuick's.
