# Albrecht Golf Guide vs GolfNow

The clearest difference is rating: Albrecht Golf Guide at 5.0 against GolfNow's 4.3. Albrecht Golf Guide also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). GolfNow's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Albrecht Golf Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfNow has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Albrecht Golf Guide's written reviews are positive against 56% of GolfNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Albrecht Golf Guide ships an update every 11 months, GolfNow every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
