# FishPond vs Lil Flippers

The clearest difference is rating: Lil Flippers at 4.1 against FishPond's 3.5. Lil Flippers also leads on ratings volume (268 vs 17) and iOS requirement (3.0 vs 18.0). FishPond's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (70% vs 61%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lil Flippers sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. FishPond asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lil Flippers holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lil Flippers has 268 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of FishPond's written reviews are positive against 61% of Lil Flippers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FishPond ships an update fortnightly, Lil Flippers every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
