# Spectrum TV vs LiveViewGolf

The clearest difference is rating: Spectrum TV at 4.7 against LiveViewGolf's 2.9. Spectrum TV also leads on ratings volume (573K vs 21) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). LiveViewGolf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spectrum TV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spectrum TV has 573K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Spectrum TV's written reviews are positive against 33% of LiveViewGolf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spectrum TV ships an update every 9 days, LiveViewGolf monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
