# Simple Transfer vs SnapSync+

Simple Transfer and SnapSync+ are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Simple Transfer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and SnapSync+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple Transfer ships an update every 9 days, SnapSync+ every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and September 7, 2026 respectively.
