# Magnit VMS Mobile vs Beyond Identity

The clearest difference is rating: Beyond Identity at 4.2 against Magnit VMS Mobile's 3.7. Beyond Identity also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Magnit VMS Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 20%) and ratings volume (607 vs 39). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beyond Identity holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magnit VMS Mobile has 607 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Magnit VMS Mobile's written reviews are positive against 20% of Beyond Identity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magnit VMS Mobile ships an update every 3 weeks, Beyond Identity every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
