# Doodle Dandy vs Squibble

The clearest difference is rating: Squibble at 5.0 against Doodle Dandy's 4.6. Doodle Dandy's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodle Dandy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Squibble sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Squibble holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Doodle Dandy has 69 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Doodle Dandy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Squibble's.

Doodle Dandy ships an update fortnightly, Squibble every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
