# Rijnmond vs RD

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Rijnmond at 60 against RD's 5. Rijnmond also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Rijnmond against 4.8 for RD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rijnmond has 60 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rijnmond ships an update fortnightly, RD monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
