# e vs Republika

The clearest difference is rating: Republika at 4.0 against e's 2.0. e's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (24% vs 0%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Republika holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of e's written reviews are positive against 0% of Republika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 2 months, Republika monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
