# e vs TVN24

The clearest difference is rating: TVN24 at 2.5 against e's 2.0. TVN24 also leads on ratings volume (98 vs 4). e's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TVN24 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

TVN24 holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVN24 has 98 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of e's written reviews are positive against 7% of TVN24's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 2 months, TVN24 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
