# THE OUTNET vs Nike

The clearest difference is rating: Nike at 4.9 against THE OUTNET's 1.6. Nike also leads on ratings volume (1.7M vs 57) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). THE OUTNET's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (47% vs 25%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nike holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nike has 1.7M ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of THE OUTNET's written reviews are positive against 25% of Nike's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

THE OUTNET ships an update monthly, Nike weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
