# Vemkar vs OrthoPrax

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vemkar at 92% against OrthoPrax's 51%. Vemkar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). OrthoPrax's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (515 vs 8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OrthoPrax sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Vemkar asks for nothing beyond the download.

OrthoPrax holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OrthoPrax has 515 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Vemkar's written reviews are positive against 51% of OrthoPrax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vemkar ships an update every 6 months, OrthoPrax every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
