# Do! vs SimpList

The clearest difference is ads: SimpList at none against Do!'s shown. SimpList also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Do!'s advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 9) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Do! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SimpList sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimpList holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Do! has 26K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Do!'s written reviews are positive against 75% of SimpList's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Do! ships an update fortnightly, SimpList monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
