# Easter vs Hexbee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Easter at none against Hexbee's 1. Easter also leads on ratings volume (125 vs 13) and iOS requirement (3.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hexbee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Easter asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for Easter against 3.8 for Hexbee. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easter has 125 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Easter's written reviews are positive against 69% of Hexbee's.

Easter ships an update every 2 months, Hexbee every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
