# iDousyn vs DroneSynth

The clearest difference is price: DroneSynth at Free against iDousyn's $5.99. DroneSynth also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). iDousyn's advantage is ratings volume (161 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

DroneSynth is free to download; iDousyn costs $5.99 up front. iDousyn sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DroneSynth sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DroneSynth holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iDousyn has 161 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iDousyn ships an update every 2 months, DroneSynth every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
