# Talking Tom Cat 2 vs Yumm

The clearest difference is ads: Yumm at none against Talking Tom Cat 2's shown. Yumm also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Talking Tom Cat 2's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 37) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talking Tom Cat 2 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Yumm sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talking Tom Cat 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talking Tom Cat 2 has 57K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Talking Tom Cat 2's written reviews are positive against 79% of Yumm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talking Tom Cat 2 ships an update every 3 months, Yumm every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
