# ColorPicker vs Keepsies

The clearest difference is rating: Keepsies at 5.0 against ColorPicker's 3.0. Keepsies also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.2). ColorPicker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ColorPicker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Keepsies sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Keepsies holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

ColorPicker ships an update every 2 months, Keepsies fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
