# Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music vs Blackbinder

The clearest difference is rating: Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music at 5.0 against Blackbinder's 4.5. Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Blackbinder's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Blackbinder sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blackbinder has 79 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music's written reviews are positive against 55% of Blackbinder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perform™ Scrolling Sheet Music ships an update every 3 months, Blackbinder fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
