# Converter vs Ultimate Convertor

The clearest difference is rating: Converter at 4.9 against Ultimate Convertor's 4.5. Converter also leads on ratings volume (981 vs 2). Ultimate Convertor's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Converter has 981 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Converter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ultimate Convertor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
