# RiksText vs Biopasset

The clearest difference is update cadence: Biopasset at every 2 weeks against RiksText's every 5 weeks. RiksText's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RiksText ships an update every 5 weeks, Biopasset every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
