# Cookie Tally vs Cookie Calculator

The clearest difference is rating: Cookie Calculator at 4.8 against Cookie Tally's 3.5. Cookie Calculator also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 46%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookie Tally sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cookie Calculator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cookie Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookie Calculator has 320 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Cookie Tally's written reviews are positive against 82% of Cookie Calculator's.

Cookie Tally ships an update every 7 months, Cookie Calculator every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
