# RIBnet Forums vs TruckChat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RIBnet Forums at 94% against TruckChat's 33%. RIBnet Forums also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). TruckChat's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 1.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TruckChat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of RIBnet Forums's written reviews are positive against 33% of TruckChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RIBnet Forums ships an update every 2 months, TruckChat every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
