# EL AL vs SmartAgent Personal Assistant

The clearest difference is ads: SmartAgent Personal Assistant at none against EL AL's shown. SmartAgent Personal Assistant also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). EL AL's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EL AL holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EL AL has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of EL AL's written reviews are positive against 100% of SmartAgent Personal Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EL AL ships an update every 10 days, SmartAgent Personal Assistant every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
