# EL AL vs Monite

The clearest difference is ads: Monite at none against EL AL's shown. Monite also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4). EL AL's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 44%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 23). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Monite holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EL AL has 1.3K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of EL AL's written reviews are positive against 44% of Monite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EL AL ships an update every 10 days, Monite fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
