# Countdown ‎ vs Ring Sizer

The clearest difference is rating: Ring Sizer at 5.0 against Countdown ‎'s 3.8. Ring Sizer also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Countdown ‎'s advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown ‎ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Ring Sizer sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ring Sizer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown ‎ has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown ‎ ships an update every 2 months, Ring Sizer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
