# Countdown ‎ vs Betta Care

The clearest difference is rating: Betta Care at 4.3 against Countdown ‎'s 3.8. Betta Care also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Countdown ‎'s advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 33%) and ratings volume (11K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown ‎ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Betta Care sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Betta Care holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown ‎ has 11K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Countdown ‎'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Betta Care's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Countdown ‎ ships an update every 2 months, Betta Care fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
