# SpoofCard vs Text Vault

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Text Vault at 77% against SpoofCard's 33%. Text Vault also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). SpoofCard's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpoofCard sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Text Vault sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpoofCard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 36K and 23K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of SpoofCard's written reviews are positive against 77% of Text Vault's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpoofCard ships an update monthly, Text Vault every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
