# PSAT vs Handposted

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Handposted at none against PSAT's 1. Handposted also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). PSAT's advantage is ratings volume (59 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PSAT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Handposted asks for nothing beyond the download.

Handposted holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSAT has 59 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PSAT ships an update every 12 months, Handposted fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
