# ynet vs Haaretz Tablet Edition

The clearest difference is rating: Haaretz Tablet Edition at 2.1 against ynet's 1.8. Haaretz Tablet Edition also leads on review sentiment (18% vs 9%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). ynet's advantage is ratings volume (225 vs 15) and chart position (#139 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ynet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Haaretz Tablet Edition sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Haaretz Tablet Edition holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ynet has 225 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
