# SityTrail vs MaRando

The clearest difference is rating: MaRando at 5.0 against SityTrail's 1.2. SityTrail's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SityTrail sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and MaRando sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MaRando holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of SityTrail's written reviews are positive against 86% of MaRando's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SityTrail ships an update every 10 days, MaRando every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
