# Idiotic vs Visual Beat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Idiotic at 93% against Visual Beat's 50%. Idiotic also leads on update cadence (every 8 months vs every 123 months) and device support (3 vs 1). Visual Beat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idiotic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Visual Beat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Visual Beat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Idiotic's written reviews are positive against 50% of Visual Beat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Idiotic ships an update every 8 months, Visual Beat every 123 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
