# Class Timetable vs Smart Diary

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Class Timetable at 3K against Smart Diary's 43. Class Timetable also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (81% vs 66%). Smart Diary's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Timetable sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Smart Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Class Timetable against 4.8 for Smart Diary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Class Timetable has 3K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Class Timetable's written reviews are positive against 66% of Smart Diary's.

Class Timetable ships an update every 2 weeks, Smart Diary every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
