# Class Timetable vs Teachers Grade Book

The clearest difference is rating: Class Timetable at 4.7 against Teachers Grade Book's 4.0. Class Timetable also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Teachers Grade Book's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Timetable sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Teachers Grade Book sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Class Timetable holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Class Timetable has 3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Class Timetable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Teachers Grade Book's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Class Timetable ships an update every 2 weeks, Teachers Grade Book every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
