# Vimeo vs SimpleSign

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimpleSign at 100% against Vimeo's 49%. SimpleSign also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). Vimeo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vimeo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. SimpleSign asks for nothing beyond the download.

SimpleSign holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vimeo has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Vimeo's written reviews are positive against 100% of SimpleSign's.

Vimeo ships an update fortnightly, SimpleSign every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 7, 2026 respectively.
