# Vimeo vs AlbaPro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AlbaPro at 100% against Vimeo's 63%. AlbaPro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Vimeo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 25). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vimeo sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. AlbaPro asks for nothing beyond the download.

AlbaPro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vimeo has 12K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Vimeo's written reviews are positive against 100% of AlbaPro's.

Vimeo ships an update every 2 weeks, AlbaPro every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
