# Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro vs Backside Stats

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Backside Stats at 80% against Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro's 29%. Backside Stats also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (76 vs 1). Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Backside Stats sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backside Stats has 76 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Baseball Stats Scorekeeper Pro's written reviews are positive against 80% of Backside Stats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
