# GPS Tracks vs Land Nav

The clearest difference is update cadence: Land Nav at daily against GPS Tracks's fortnightly. Land Nav also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). GPS Tracks's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 3) and chart position (#76 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tracks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and Land Nav sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Land Nav holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS Tracks has 18K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of GPS Tracks's written reviews are positive against 100% of Land Nav's.
