# GPS Tracks vs AllTracks

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AllTracks at none against GPS Tracks's 3. AllTracks also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). GPS Tracks's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (18K vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tracks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. AllTracks asks for nothing beyond the download.

AllTracks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS Tracks has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GPS Tracks ships an update fortnightly, AllTracks every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
