# GPS Tracks vs GPX Tracker PRO

The clearest difference is ratings volume: GPS Tracks at 18K against GPX Tracker PRO's 2. GPS Tracks also leads on chart position (#88 vs unranked) and device support (5 vs 1). GPX Tracker PRO's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tracks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and GPX Tracker PRO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPX Tracker PRO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS Tracks has 18K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of GPS Tracks's written reviews are positive against 100% of GPX Tracker PRO's.

GPS Tracks ships an update fortnightly, GPX Tracker PRO every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
