# Yahoo新聞 vs HK LegCo

The clearest difference is rating: Yahoo新聞 at 4.1 against HK LegCo's 2.0. Yahoo新聞 also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (61 vs 1). HK LegCo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (33% vs 18%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yahoo新聞 holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yahoo新聞 has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Yahoo新聞's written reviews are positive against 33% of HK LegCo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yahoo新聞 ships an update every 3 weeks, HK LegCo every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
