# Absolute Board vs Noteflow

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Absolute Board at 91% against Noteflow's 47%. Absolute Board also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.4). Noteflow's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (182 vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Noteflow holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteflow has 182 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Absolute Board's written reviews are positive against 47% of Noteflow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Absolute Board ships an update every 2 months, Noteflow every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 11, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
