# Absolute Board vs Inkflow Visual Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Inkflow Visual Notebook at 4.6 against Absolute Board's 3.6. Inkflow Visual Notebook also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 12) and device support (3 vs 1). Absolute Board's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (91% vs 71%). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkflow Visual Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Absolute Board asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inkflow Visual Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkflow Visual Notebook has 1.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Absolute Board's written reviews are positive against 71% of Inkflow Visual Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Absolute Board ships an update every 2 months, Inkflow Visual Notebook every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on June 11, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
