# Touchgrind BMX vs Torque Burnout

The clearest difference is ads: Touchgrind BMX at none against Torque Burnout's shown. Touchgrind BMX also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 53%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Torque Burnout's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touchgrind BMX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Torque Burnout sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Torque Burnout holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Torque Burnout has 3.5K ratings behind it against 683, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Touchgrind BMX's written reviews are positive against 53% of Torque Burnout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Touchgrind BMX ships an update every 6 months, Torque Burnout every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
