# West Wing Escape vs FreeCellﾠ Solitaire

The clearest difference is review sentiment: West Wing Escape at 100% against FreeCellﾠ Solitaire's 44%. West Wing Escape also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). FreeCellﾠ Solitaire's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (470 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. West Wing Escape sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FreeCellﾠ Solitaire sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreeCellﾠ Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreeCellﾠ Solitaire has 470 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of West Wing Escape's written reviews are positive against 44% of FreeCellﾠ Solitaire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

West Wing Escape ships an update every 2 months, FreeCellﾠ Solitaire every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
