# West Wing Escape vs Easter Magic

The clearest difference is rating: Easter Magic at 5.0 against West Wing Escape's 3.5. Easter Magic also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). West Wing Escape's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. West Wing Escape sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Easter Magic sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easter Magic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of West Wing Escape's written reviews are positive against 92% of Easter Magic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

West Wing Escape ships an update every 2 months, Easter Magic every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
