# West Wing Escape vs Connections

The clearest difference is rating: Connections at 5.0 against West Wing Escape's 3.5. Connections also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). West Wing Escape's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. West Wing Escape sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Connections sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Connections holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: West Wing Escape has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

West Wing Escape ships an update every 2 months, Connections every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
