# TouchChat Discover vs Fluent AAC

The clearest difference is rating: TouchChat Discover at 3.8 against Fluent AAC's 3.0. TouchChat Discover also leads on ratings volume (103 vs 5). Fluent AAC's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TouchChat Discover sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Fluent AAC sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TouchChat Discover holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchChat Discover has 103 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of TouchChat Discover's written reviews are positive against 24% of Fluent AAC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TouchChat Discover ships an update every 2 months, Fluent AAC weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
